Our style vision for 450 St.Kilda Road aims to draw on the classic prestige of Airlie Manor and leverage off its importance and value to our development site. To express this relationship and rapport, our design has taken a more sculptural and contemporary shape to develop a site which exhibits an unique, sophisticated and captivating flavor .We aim to create a structure that not only captures the motion and vigor of St Kilda Road’s glamorous previously but also allows the key views across the site to be maximized.
The exterior is extended like fabric over this modern form. Openings are expressed as cuts which emphasize the sense of motion. The ground plane draws the concept of pattern making of traditional paving evident in the grand mansions along St Kilda Road but provides a modern spin. Our layout harmonizes the site with its historic and social context, celebrates it with brand-new power and life to develop a strong and unique identity for this new lifestyle in deluxe.
